Education

He was born in 1981 in Balikesir. He completed his primary and secondary education in Balikesir and his high school education at Marching Band Schools Command in Ankara. In 2004, he graduated from Trakya University State Conservatory, Wind and Percussion Instruments Main Art Major, Horn Art Major. In 2013, he graduated from Trakya University Social Sciences Institute Music Department Master's Program. He graduated from the Proficiency in Art program at the same institution in 2016. In 2016, he entered Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute Music Department to appreciate his work in composition. In addition, he has been continuing his training as orchestra conductor in the Main Art Major of Hacettepe University Fine Arts Institute Conductor since 2019.

Work Life

He worked as a performer and instructor in Edirne between 1999-2003, in Uzunköprü between 2003-2006, in the military music institutions in Tekirdağ / Çorlu between 2014 and 2017, at the Ankara Harmony Harmony Command between 2007-2008, and at Ankara Marching Band Schools Command in 2009-2014. In 2018, he was appointed as a Dr. lecturer to Düzce University, Faculty of Art Design and Architecture, Department of Music. He has been working at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University State Conservatory Music Department since 2020. He is married and has three children.

Horn, Trumpet, Tuba, Correpetition, Chamber Music, Vocal Training, Turkish Music History, Music Culture, Undergraduate Thesis, Harmony, Turkish Music Harmony, Basic Music Knowledge, Ear Training.

Publications

His papers in national and international scientific meetings, articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters in the fields of Music Theories, musicology, and instrument and books on music theories have been published.

Education

He was born in 1981. He started his violin education in 1991 at Trakya University State Conservatory with Prof. Nuri İyicil. During his education in various conservatories, he had the opportunity to work with many educators. In 2005, he graduated from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, Prof. Nuri İyicil's violin class. He attended the lectures of Dmitry Sitkovetsky in Leipzig, Germany in 2005 and the master classes of Sarah Kapustin in the Netherlands in 2007. He completed his master's degree at Yıldız Technical University in 2010 under the supervision of Associate Professor Eylem Arıca. He started proficiency in art in the field of Music at Trakya University in 2019. He continues his thesis studies with Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer in this institution.

Work Life

As a violin artist, he gave concerts within the scope of many projects and festivals held in Turkey and abroad. He worked in Bakırköy Municipality Chamber Orchestra between 2002-2009. He was accepted to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University State Conservatory in 2010 as a lecturer. He gave violin lessons in İzmir, Manisa and Afyonkarahisar branches within the scope of CALF (Cihat Aşkın and his Little Friends) project established by Cihat Aşkın, in 2017-2018 within the scope of Rotation Masterclasses.

Publications 

An article and a paper with Prof. Alaattin Canbay titled "An Assessment of Part-Time Instrument Education in State Conservatories in Turkey". Chapter author of the book "Music Culture" edited by Prof. Alaattin Canbay and Prof. Zeki Nacakcı.
